Sorry, too late !
The collaboration between Audi and Porsche has given birth to this impressive Audi RS2 Avant, presented for the first time at the International Motor Show in Frankfurt in September 1993. “Renn Sport” (RS) literally means “Racing Sport”. This compact Avant with stylish lines, in its famous blue RS pearl effect color (“RS blau perleffekt”), results from the combination of the advanced technologies of these two major manufacturers, and benefits from road performance and high level driving experience. Its equipment is synonymous with “high performance” : bodywork with Porsche design elements, Quattro undercarriage equipped with Porsche brakes and wheels, 17-inch Porsche CUP rims, Porsche 911 CUP rearview mirrors, sport exhaust, Recaro anthracite leather sport seats… The powerful turbocharged five-cylinder 20-valve 2.2-liter engine develops 315 hp and allows this car to reach 262 km/h with a very high torque.
This RS2 is equipped with many options, such as automatic air conditioning, xenon headlights, or carbon inserts. Exit of the Porsche factory of Zuffenhausen in 1995 and delivered new in Italy, this car has been produced in only 2891 exemplaries and will make a permanent mark in the brand history. It is an inescapable car in a Porsche collection, and its rate still promise a good progression. I personally owned three of these cars in this period and traveled with each of them hundreds of thousands of kilometers, including a gray one for more than 380,000 km ! With only 130,785km on the counter, this car will delight a lucky future buyer who will get behind the wheel of a sports car previously maintained at Audi with a rebuilt distribution and its complete file, maintenance book and contrôle technique with appraisal value.
