Dino 246 GT-M 1971, Rosso Dino, Matching Numbers

Sorry, too late !

Enzo Ferrari created Dino brand in tribute to his son Alfredino for the competition and road cars receiving V6 or V8 engines, by differentiation to the brand Scuderia Ferrari booked to V12 models. The 246 GT was presented in 1969 and stood out by its exceptional performances given by the 2,4 liters V6 engine closely deriving from competition. Beyond this fabulous mechanics with bewitching melody, the car is very well balanced thanks to the central engine position and the exemplary weight repartition. The Dino 246 dynamic behavior and playfulness were highly appreciated at the time and can be explained with some figures still topical 50 later: 7,4 seconds to reach 100 km/h and 240 km/h top speed whereas the power is “only” 195 horsepower. The 246 GT gets as well a fluid design, recognizable among all and which finesse fits perfectly with its resolutely racing philosophy.
