Sorry, too late !

Iconic Yamaha RD 500 LC, 1989 only 24900 Km, never restored.

The RD 500 LC was presented at the Paris Motor Show in 1983. It is the result of the work of engineers Hashimoto, Suzuki and Yayama. It is inspired by the Kenny Roberts YZR500 and is equipped with a 2-stroke, 50° V-shaped, four-cylinder, twin-spoke, two-stroke engine. The lower cylinders have a valve inlet at the bottom of the housing and four transfers, while the upper cylinders have an inlet directly into the cylinder with five transfers. Therefore, the carburation setting must be different between the cylinders. The four cylinders are equipped with inlet valves and YPVS exhaust valves. The tele-hydraulic fork is equipped with an anti-dive system. The single rear shock absorber was housed under the motorcycle for compactness. Our Yamaha chassis 002888 was produced on April 20, 1989 and delivered new to Forli in Romagna (Italy), it has only covered 24900 km in its life. It has never been restored, the engine develops 87 horsepower at 9500 rpm powered by four 26 mm Mikuni carburetors. It has a multi-disc clutch in oil bath, a 6-speed gearbox and a chain transmission.  It is a sure value in collection, it will enchant you with its specific sound. Italian registration.
