This 2003 model was delivered new in Germany in Anthracite Grey with a particularly generous factory specification. Since then, it has undergone significant upgrades and a comprehensive anti-corrosion treatment. The underbody and chassis have been completely stripped by hand, treated against corrosion and then protected with a specialised wax. All four doors have been removed, restored and treated to address the Defender’s well-known susceptibility to corrosion in the lower sections. Inside, the cabin has been completely refurbished with genuine Alcantara covering the centre sections of the seats, the door panels, the headlining, certain elements of the dashboard and the steering wheel.
