Unique Triton 650 manufactured in 1960 in England

Triton bikes were hybrid motorcycles born in the 50s from creative racers and mechanics that integrated Triumph engines inside Norton featherbed frame. The idea was to combine the best technical part within the market. The Norton frame was renowned to get the best maneuverability, and the Triumph engine was reliable, powerful and easy to tune to get even more performances. The Triton used to be made exactly according to the pilots wishes and habits to make him as fast as possible during the races, meaning that every Triton is unique.

 

This beautiful motorcycle has been manufactured by a specialist workshop in England and delivered new the 6thJuly 1960. It holds the chassis number 014816 and its parallel Twin cylinder engine of 649cc develops 49 horsepower. Coming from an Italian collector, it is in perfect condition with its nice color combination with red frame and chromed tank as well as many other parts. It will be delivered with Italian registration papers.

 

This very nice Triton 650 is unique, and was at the top of performances by the sixties. Today it is as much a piece of art as an opportunity to compete historic races.
